This covers approach & concepts in Lean six sigma implementation as a part of Green belt training.The courier company delivers sensitive parcels, for inter-office communication between international cities, to the customer offices in different countries. According to the terms of the contract, the courier company is paid for successful correct deliveries only. There is a penalty for wrong delivery. There is a service level of delivery within 3 working days, for each parcel delivery. Any delivery delayed beyond service level is defective. There are some late deliveries & hence need improvement. Also some deliveries are delivered to wrong party, which is also hence defective & need improvement. The scope of this six sigma project, is to increase courier delivery rates, and correct deliveries.
